Quote Statuses¶
Statuses help your team quickly understand where each quote is in the customer journey.
Common Statuses¶
| Status | What It Means | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Quote is being prepared and has not been sent to the customer. | Customer view tracking and follow-ups do not apply yet. |
| Sent | Quote has been sent and has an active public link for the customer. | Follow-ups and view tracking can apply once requirements are met. |
| Viewed | Customer has opened the quote link at least once. | View count and last viewed time are available. |
Depending on your workflow, you may also use additional labels. If your organization has custom conventions, align your team on what each label means.
Why Status Matters¶
- Follow-ups: Follow-ups require quote status to be SENT. See Quote Follow-ups.
- View Tracking: Customer view metrics appear only for sent public quotes. See Quote View Tracking.
- Daily Prioritization: Teams can focus first on drafts that need sending, then on sent quotes that have not been viewed.
Recommended Team Workflow¶
- Keep quotes in Draft while building and reviewing internally.
- Send the quote to move it to Sent.
- Watch for customer activity in Quote View Tracking.
- Use Quote Follow-ups when reminders become due.
