Referrals

Earn when you refer businesses to AirShop. Share your unique referral link with businesses you know; when they sign up and become paying customers, you receive a referral reward.

How to access: Settings → Account → Referrals

For program details (reward amount, conversion window, payout schedule), see the Referrals section in your Account settings.

How It Works

  1. Share your link — Send your referral link directly to businesses you know.
  2. AirShop tracks the signup — When they sign up through your link, the referral is attributed to you.
  3. You earn when they pay — When they make their first payment within the conversion window, you earn a referral reward.

Your referral link has the form https://airshop.work/r/yourcode. Anyone who visits that URL is redirected to sign up with your referral attached.

You can choose your referral code once. After you set it, the code is locked and cannot be changed. Pick something memorable (e.g., your name or business name). Changing your code invalidates any links you have already shared.

Code is permanent

Your referral code can only be set once. Choose carefully—changing it later will invalidate existing links.

Example Scenarios

Scenario 1: Referring a fellow business owner

You know another business owner who could benefit from AirShop. You send them your referral link in a message or email. They click the link, sign up, and start using AirShop. When they make their first payment, you earn a referral reward. No special steps—just share the link and let them sign up through it.

Scenario 2: Recommending to a colleague or contact

A colleague or contact asks what you use for quotes or inventory. You recommend AirShop and send them your referral link. They sign up through the link and, when they make their first payment, you earn a referral reward. The key is sharing the link before they create an account—if they sign up directly without it, the referral will not count.

Scenario 3: Inviting via email from the panel

Use the Send invite option in Account → Referrals to email someone your referral link. AirShop sends a personalized invite on your behalf. The recipient gets your link and can sign up through it. This works well when you want to introduce AirShop to a specific contact with a short note.

Payout Setup with Stripe

Referral payouts run through Stripe Connect Express. To receive referral rewards, you must complete payout setup in the Referrals panel.

What you need to do

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Referrals.
  2. In the Payout setup section, click Set up payouts in Stripe (or Open Stripe payout setup if you have already started).
  3. Complete the Stripe onboarding flow. Stripe collects your banking and tax details—AirShop does not store or handle this information.
  4. When Stripe shows Payouts enabled: Ready, you are set up to receive referral payouts.

Stripe status

The panel shows your current status:

Status Meaning
Stripe account Connected or Not connected
Payouts enabled Ready (can receive payouts) or Pending (setup incomplete)
Action needed Any remaining steps Stripe requires (e.g., bank details, identity verification)

If Stripe requires additional information, the Action needed row will indicate what to complete. Return to Stripe via the payout setup button to finish.

Tips

  • Share before they sign up — The referral only counts if they use your link when creating their account.
  • Choose your code wisely — You can change it once; after that it is locked.
  • Use the email invite — For one-to-one introductions, the built-in invite email is a clean way to share your link.
